Distance challenge

December 31, 2009

We are pretty frequent visitors to the Hyline field for practice, and usually design a course or drill sequence for it. In case someone wants to take advantage of the courses, I’ll try to post them here.

Today, the M&M teams celebrated the end of the year playing a distance challenge game. Were it not for the inclusion of a table and the teeter, this would have been a decent NADAC Chances course  (we’ve registered for the Winter Madness AAC trial next month so some time on the teeter and the table seemed a good idea). The biggest challenge was the #3 tunnel to the #4 jump as the dog comes full bore out of the tunnel, looking straight at the #1  jump. Had to use a Mecklenburg style arm swing for Mirha to notice the cue in time to not commit to the off course jump.
