K9 Speedway, October 12 at Hyline, 1PM

October 11, 2010

We have talked many times about the benefits of running intuitive courses for building speed and confidence. This week’s setup is intended to do just that. Essentially, it is a circular course consisting of jumps and a tunnel. The numbering is done just to illustrate how one might use the #9 jump to reverse from clockwise to counterclockwise ordering of the obstacles. Work on limiting the real estate you as the handler cover while building speed for the dog.

Sticking to standard NADAC spacing, one complete circle is 63 yards. We’ll bring a stop watch for anyone who wants to figure yps for their dog.
